Where does Stagekids meet?
Stagekids meets on Thursday evenings during the school term at the Youth Club on the Bridgnorth Road in Shifnal. The younger group (for 6 to 11 year olds) meets from 6.45 pm to
8.00 pm and the older group (12 to 16 year olds) between 8.00 pm and 9.45 pm.
There are sometimes extra rehearsals when we get close to a production. We don't
normally meet during the holidays.
How do I get involved?
Stagekids is for young people in the Shifnal area of Shropshire. There is currently a waiting list to join both groups, but if you would like your name to be added to the list then please contact us by clicking here.
Because we currently have a waiting list and also have to consider things like health and safety, we would be grateful if you could wait until you have heard back from us before turning up. Please don't just turn up without getting in touch because we would hate to have to turn you away.
Anything else I should know?
From September 2008, membership fees are as follows:
- Younger group: £22.50 per child per school term
- Older group: £25.00 per child per school term.
Fees are due at the beginning of each term, but if it is easier we are happy for fees to be paid on a half-termly basis. If you are new to the group we don't mind you coming to a few meetings before paying in case you decide not to stay! Cheques are payable to 'Stagekids'.
For safety reasons, we also ask parents to complete a Membership Form which covers things like emergency contact and medical details.
